Likely 2nd miscarriage

Trigger warning re miscarriage

So after a scan at 6.5 weeks which showed no yolk sac or fetal pole, we were booked for a scan in 12 days time to recheck. I am very sure of my dates (temping to confirm ovulation and I got my BFP 10DPO which is now 6 weeks and 2 days ago).

Last night and this morning I started bleeding and passing clots but that seems to have stopped right now, minimal pain.

I had my scan this morning, there is now a yolk sac and fetal pole measuring 5 weeks (CRL 2.8mm) no heart beat, the sac has now been described as irregular and in the lower third of uterus with bleeding around and maybe a little in the sac. They’ve booked me for a rescan because there is progression but it is likely a miscarriage.

So now I’m in limbo land either waiting to miscarry or have another scan. I don’t see how all of the above can lead to a healthy baby but I carried on taking my test progesterone just in case.
