When to tell the news..

Hello! 
I’m going to be 9 weeks tomorrow and have an appointment on Friday and this is our first pregnancy ever! So we are so excited and sacred at same time. But my husband wants to tell our whole families together in about two weeks! (We have a family reunion once a year) I would really love to do that as well, but when did you ladies start telling your families?!

Honestly, that is up to you and your husband and how close you are to your family. With my first, we told everyone like instantly so around 6-8 weeks. With my second pregnancy, i told everyone at 10 weeks and miscarried 6 days later. With my third pregnancy, almost lost her at 6 weeks and 10 weeks so it was a big secret until 13 weeks as i was a nervous wreck (she is a year old now). Lost 2 since very early on and haven't really talked about it much but pregnant again, just hit 2nd trimester. I told my close family at 9 weeks because i was showing a lot at my sons birthday party but will be letting everyone else know after my cousins wedding this weekend so i will be 14 weeks. Good luck on the pregnancy, happy healthy mama and baby and just feel confident in whatever decision you make and cherish it :)
