Period??

Hey all so I stopped getting the depo shot I can't remember when my last one was months ago anyway.. I had 3 days this week that I had brownish spots when I wiped sometimes in my underwear like spotting. Then it went away I haven't had a period since I stopped the shot I've never had birth control before is this the normal for when it starts to come back is just some spotting and then should I expect it to arrive normally at some point soon? 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ thanks ladies
