How would it go directly to the baby? I assume you mean the broken down nutrients that would go through your bloodstream like anything you ingest? All things ingested first go to your stomach to be digested before being broken done to their base nutrients that would supply your body systems with energy. Semen is carbs and protein. So yes, I suppose those building blocks of life would make their way through the placenta
