I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks ago and my first scan/appointment is on August 2nd. I’ve been using my progesterone suppositories every night since I got my first positive test (I’ve had three miscarriages before) and I’ve been getting brown spotting once and awhile?? I haven’t had any spotting in the past week but it happens randomly, and one time it had reddish blood and then immediately turned brown when I used the bathroom again 10 mins later to check. There was no clots and it’s typically only brown, and stops after an hour usually and the nurse at my OB thinks it might be something to do with the placenta but I’m really nervous. I’m not sure if it’s from the suppositories or what, but I’m worried that it’s not normal or something will be wrong with when I get my scan next week. Has anyone experienced this at all? (Like I said, I have had no clots just random brown spotting or discharge).
