Absolutely. And married too so they don’t feel like they “failed”. I wish some would lose that mentality

I think alot of our moms (older generation) are those kind of women

Yes, my best friend would rather be in a relationship with a jerk than single. Some people just can't be alone. 
I also think men stay with terrible women too, which doesn't get talked about enough. My grandfather was by all accounts a nice guy, but my grandmother was verbally abusive to him. She wouldn't let him do anything either without her permission. She was italian & he was slavic, but she would never want to acknowledge his culture. It was all about the italian side. I felt bad for him. She was a handful.

I’m 100% sure they do, I know of a few who do and they admitted to it

I do think some do just from what they see their mother put up with growing up. My mom knew my dad was abusive and a cheater with a possible child with another woman while they were married. She said she would’ve stayed if he wasn’t so mean(I call it abusive). She also got an std from him cheating on her as well. I don’t know how she’s able to say good this about my dad even when I tell her he’s trash.

Why are you so concerned what someone else does with their life?  It’s not your business. Stay in your lane and worry about your own life.
