According to BMI, yes probably. BUT bmi isn’t accurate. It doesn’t take muscle mass, or fat percentage into account. Only weight. Don’t let any of that define you, just keep doing what you’re doing, taking care of yourself & babe! Congrats!

Obesity is based off of BMI. So for your height yes you probably are “technically “ considered obese. But it looks like you are blessed with the perfect body shape to carry weight cause you certainly don’t look obese at all!

Thanks ladies I know it’s just Ridiculous every time I go to the doctor they tell me to eat healthier like ..okaaayyy. And I’m not really supposed to gain weight in this pregnancy either if anything to keep it under 15lb

The BMI was literally made so long ago, and was made by mathematicians. Not doctors, not nutritionists etc. Its also sexist and does NOT account for pregnancy, different body structure etc. I will never base my health off of it.
You are not obese, at ALL. Also, the BMI doesn't take into account how you eat, if you're active, healthy, if all of your blood work and blood pressure etc is good. So don't worry about it. I hate the BMI with a passion. I started this pregnancy "overweight", and because I've literally gained like 4lbs, now my BMI says I'm obese. Its bs. You're absolutely beautiful and don't look obese at all.
