Dating whilst being a single parent!

My ex had always told me nobody will want me because I have two children (he is the father). He has said this soo much previously that I feel like I can't even put myself out there in the future because of that 😔 is it really difficult to find someone as I have kids? I'm not ready yet but would be nice in the future. When you hear something soo many times you start to believe it 😒
