My sons boyfriend spoke to me after dinner!

My son Aiden and his boyfriend Ethan came over for.dinner today. They both were asking strange and Ethan did say he wanted to talk to me about something but didn't say what (I hate that). Me and Ethan are sitting in my office after dinner and he starts telling me how grateful he is to have me as a mom because his real family was also abusive. He told me meeting Aiden even when they were just friends was the best day of his life(They actually met at their 8th grade formal). He told me how grateful he is to have us in his life and he can't imagine his life without Aiden. He then said "Last I proposed". I yelled " WHAT!" He was all like, we won't be getting married for a minute. Like a year or 2. He said it would mean the world if he could have my blessing and can officially be his mom and that he promises to be the best husband. So I take his hand and shake it and said "Be true to my son, love him, hold him when.he needs you. Be the person who supports him and is there for him through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Be the person to care for him long after I'm gone". Then I pulled him in for a hug. I see Aiden peaking from behind the door and I turn Ethan around and he gives a thumbs up and Aiden runs and jumps into his arms. I hug them both and see the ring and go " Damn!" My sons ring is better than the one his dad gave me lmao. Ethan tells my boy how much he loves him and can't wait to marry him and that he's the best thing that every happened to him and I'm crying like I baby. I'm making them both spend the night because I miss tf out of them since they moved out! Looks like I'm helping plan a wedding lol.
