So hi! I'm 20 now and since I was about 14 I've had awful cramps on my period. Sometimes they're so bad I'm practically bedridden. I've tried just about everything, OTC pain killers, the pill, heat, exercise, water, diet changes, essential oils, tea, everything I can. I can't afford any other forms of birth control so I've been sitting here in pain for months wondering what else I can do. I heard about TENS units being used for cramps, and now there's actual units basically made for menstrual cramps and I wanted to ask if anyone with a similar situation to me has had relief with them??? I've used TENS units before but never for cramps, so I've been trying to figure out if it's worth it to buy one! Are they worth it? Do they help?should I get an actual full TENS unit instead because they're cheaper?? Help please!!
