Baby shower for baby #2?? (Read description)

I had my daughter in April 2020. I am pregnant again but this time with a baby boy.
Would you have another baby shower since they are the opposite gender or no shower because my other one wasn’t so long ago.

I feel bad for second babies! They deserve new stuff just for them too (and I’m the oldest!)! Tomorrow we are throwing a surprise shower for my stepsister because she’s having a second girl, and I know she doesn’t think we are doing anything ☺️. If you want one, definitely have one.

If you want to celebrate with a baby shower, you should definitely have one.
You deserve one, just like everyone else, even if you just had a baby last year.
If anyone doesn't want to partake, he or she doesn't have to come.

I would have a party if u want thats not odd but i wouldnt send out a registry and i wouldnt call it a shower. Personally i dont think it’s appropriate to expect ppl to buy you things for two babies. Its great for them to do it the first time i wouldnt expect it second time around. For ppl that want ti buy u something will i wouldnt put any pressure or expectations for it.

Same situation: my son was born in April of 2020 and I’m having a girl late October. I’m not asking for or throwing myself a second baby shower but my husband is considering putting something together. Maybe a “sprinkle”? That’s co Ed this time. The first one I had my mother set up and only invited women

My son was born Jan 2020 and my family is throwing me a sprinkle in a few weeks. We don’t know the gender of the baby (didn’t find out last time either). We have all the big items still and I’m not expecting a lot of gifts but it’s nice to celebrate this baby too. I still have 1 box of diapers from my first shower that I haven’t opened. I’d be happy with a box or 2 of diapers lol.
