FTM, sick baby what can I do? Crossposted

My 5mo is starting to get an upper respiratory something. Just the beginning very mild clear snot, few sneezes, mild cough a few times…. If it were me I’d boost Vit C etc. to kick it in the butt before it turns nasty. 
Is there anything I can do for a baby or just wait it out?
Obviously I’ll also call the Dr. but it’s Saturday and they’re closed until Monday. Not clinic or ER worthy.

At 5 months there’s not much you can do except let it take it’s course, you could give Tylenol if baby starts to develop a fever or saline drops if baby’s nose becomes blocked. Definitely seek medical advice if baby becomes worse to a point where your worried or if they have trouble breathing.

Could be allergies or even teething can cause this as well.

Humidifier for congestion, in the room baby spends most of the time in. Lots of snuggles and feeding. Keeping her nose as clear as possible. That's about it. If she starts coughing, you can sit her upright to help. Our pediatrician gave us the clear for zarbees if there's a cough, but I can't remember how young mine was when they first got sick. You can check the zarbees box for how old they need to be. However, I'd check with the on call pediatrician for confirmation of using it if you're concerned about age.
