Tell me I’m not crazy for this driving me up a freaking wall.

My SO (and I’ve noticed his parents too) put trash on the counter when they’re taking it out. They will either take the bag out of the trash can and set it directly on the kitchen counter while they put a new bag in the can or just pick up the whole can and set it on the counter while they take the bag out.

And they don’t clean the counter after!

Am I wrong or is this absolutely disgusting. Literally every time my SO takes the trash out I have to go wipe down the counter after him. He thinks I’m like crazy obsessive for thinking this is gross and refuses to clean it himself.

They also generally just never use actual cleaner to clean the kitchen counters, just wipe them off with the sponge from the sink (which they never put into the little basket thing we have to dry so it just sits in the bottom of the sink wet all the time, which I also find disgusting.)
