Induction?

Question

If your ob has an induction date set can that be changed depending on cervix dilation and/or anything else within the following appointments before that date? I’m 2cm dilated and they set my induction for august 16th!

I don’t even have a 40 week appointment and I’m 38+3 my 38 week appointment was yesterday. I have an appointment Monday but they got me in sooner. However I still have to go to the one Monday. Which I’ll only be 38+5 and then I won’t have another until who knows when. I also am not allowed to be induced until 40+2 this is Kaiser btw for anyone wondering. DONT GO TO KAISER…

My doctor didn’t set any date until he saw I was dilated, I was 2cm on Wednesday too so I got a date I’m getting induced this Tuesday

Yes if your water breaks or you start having contractions you’ll deliver before your induction date.
