A common and natural thing we all do is want to protect our best friend from harm. However my former best friend will always take the side of the person that hurts her in the end. Most of the time it’s men. A boy abuses and controls her but I’m the asshole for not supporting her in her relationship. I give her unconditional support and listen to her misery for 8 years until she comes to me and I help her leave. 1 year later she starts dating a disrespectful f-boy who I already know is cheating and looking at my body. I tell her and now she considers me mean and a “hater.” I’m so over it. Have any of y’all experienced this?
