I literally can’t even if I wanted to. I’m allowed one person when it used to be two, but due to the delta variant my hospital is tightening up their restrictions again.

No guests under 18 allowed in the hospital for us. Only one guest per day as well. It will probably be just my husband and I again this time, but that’s ok with me!

Only 2 people are allowed in the delivery room and they have to be over 18. Postpartum only 4 visitors in a calendar day and they have to be 18 or over. Since my daughter will only be 20-21 months at the time of delivery I would not allow her in even if she was allowed. If I had an older child it would be different.

I think my kids are to young, and currently aren’t allowed in L&D. My five year old would be interested but if anything went south I wouldn’t want her to witness it.

Luckily having a home birth, grateful about this as covid restrictions get stricter. My kids are so so excited to see their brother being born.

I don’t think we are even allowed to have any guests after the baby is born. Only one person during delivery

I really wish. With my son, all my sisters were there and my dad. I truly wish! But now it may just be the dad and my sister if they allow. If only one person, I’m choosing my sister.

Where I live I asked and they actually encourage it. They are very family oriented here. My boys, husband and MIL(who is visiting) will be attending birth but not laboring part, just my husband so his mother can spend time with the boys.
