My husband and I are both very light skinne and we are Mexican so our family is more dark skinned. Well our baby has had a really bad diaper rash because he had diareah for two days and it got irritated in that area. Well I was telling my mom about his rash and she goes “ he probably got it because he’s so white” 😐 like what?? That’s dsnt make any sense lol.

Then my sister has a Mixed baby, half Mexican half African, and yes she is African her dad is from Kenya. Well now they are always making comments about his their color. And how one of us has a super white baby and the other super dark. Idk if I’m just being to sensitive but In my beliefs I don’t think they should be making comments like about skin color because I believe it could cause insecurities in the future. Im just going off of my experience of my family always commenting on my skin color growing up I hated wearing dresses that would show my pale legs and arms. During the summer I would still wear long sleeves and pants outside.
