Is Niall too Irish for an American baby?

Gardenia

I am having a baby boy and I am sick to death of trying to find the perfect name. My husband and I just want to settle on a name. We’ve come to agree on the Irish name Niall, which means “champion”. I have Irish ancestry, have traveled to Ireland, and being Irish has always been a huge part of my life. My husband is not Irish at all. I know there’s been a trend of Irish names in America lately (Declan, Maeve, Liam, Ronan) so what do you think…is Niall still to “out there” and too Irish for an American baby? Or can we make it work. The other name I like is Noah but that’s so common and I think Niall is a nice strong sound.
