Is anyone else STILL super constipated?

Ugh I’m literally about to cry. I’m so unbelievably uncomfortable. I have tried every single thing the doctors have recommended for me and nothing is working. Have you found anything that helped you? I am literally willing to try anything at this point 😭😭

So I’ve had this problem. The first trimester was the absolute worst. But now I take miralax everyday or every other day and a stool softener every day. Took a lot of trying different medicines before I found one that worked. It doesn’t matter how much water I drink, and I typically drink a lot

1. Make sure you're drinking enough water
2. Cut sugar and other inflammatory things
3. Eat more healthy fats like butter or coconut oil or lard (no one can resist going poo after a full stick of butter) 
4. Eat less fiber. Fiber is a bulking agent giving you more that needs to go through your bowels and takes longer to be digested.

I also recommend magnesium citrate if you haven't tried it. I take a powder scoop dissolved in water before bed every night. It acts as a laxative in that it pulls water to your digestive track to help everything move along, it helps muscle pains and also can help relax you before bed. I hadsuch issues with constipation in ny 1st pregnancy and my 2 miscarriages and saw a naturopath who recommended magnesium. It has been a god send this pregnancy! I also drink about a gallon of water every day too.

I had it until a midwife I visited for a prenatal massage because of my sciatica recommended magnesium for the sciatica :D since I take magnesium I haven’t been constipated a single day :)

I had this problem my whole pregnancy so far, I’m 27 weeks now. I drink plenty of water, take stool softeners, miralax, and none of that helped. Then about 2 weeks ago I started taking fiber gummies and all of a sudden I’m pooping almost every day again. 😅
I hope you find something that helps.
