**Let me preface this by saying, yes my kid and the other were being loud. They’re 2 and 3 years old**

Something that I’m still intensely angry about just happened. I’ve never had any issues with our neighbours before, we’ve been in our current house as long as my son has been alive and never had issues. We have a neighbour kiddo who moved in a couple months ago, and he and our son love playing together from neighbouring decks outside. They love spraying water, and sometimes this results in loud voices or yelling between them.

It was 6pm, I was making dinner, both boys were playing outside having the best time. We’re still under a lot of covid restrictions so this is the closest they’ve got to a play date probably in their whole lives lol. As I’m getting the food on the table and they’re jumping around a screaming, this man probably 50-60s a few houses over comes out on his porch and yells at them “SHUT THE FUCK UP, JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP” over and over. I stick my head out the door as he is going back in his house and both kids run in their own houses scared because they have no idea what just happened.

My son goes “mommy what’s wrong?” And my heart just broke.

I seriously don’t know how to handle this. I’m tempted to call the cops if he ever tries that again… how horrible do you have to be to scream at toddlers??? Sorry… mommy rant over 😅 I’m still shaking
