Anyone getting their tubes tied after this baby is born?

So my husband is 100% sure he doesn’t want anymore kids. We always said after 3 we would be done. So since I’m having a c section I thought I could just get my tubes tied during it. I was going to talk to my doctor at my next appt about getting this done. The more I think about it the sadder it makes me. Like maybe I don’t want to 😣. I know 3 is a good number for us but that just seems so final to me.

Then maybe he should get a vasectomy instead of you getting your tubes tied. If your are not 100% happy about it, don’t do it. Don’t make permanent decisions for your body and self based on his choices. It should be something you want to do 100%. If he’s serious, he can also make the decision to do something about it. And If he’s not willing to go that route why must you.

If you don’t feel done done do it. Have him get a vasectomy. Being done I feel like is a personal decision and I know plenty of women that remarried and had another kid with a new husband.

No. We always said 4. Ours are all just about 3yrs apart. Our youngest just turned 5 and we are 24wks. He changed his mind so here's number 5. Sometimes things change. I was on bc until Jan so a little decision but not permanent. He said no v so.... But good luck to you on your decision. Just be sure.
