Testing down

So, I am experiencing what I guess is a chemical because it is before 5 weeks. I got the blood results back today from Friday, and I was just at 5 and began bleeding Saturday, heavy. Today it is slowing down a lot, but still there more brown on the pad and when I wipe, but also some red here and there. Should I test to make sure my lines are gone? I still had a positive test Friday morning when I had a hcg level of 5. My cousin said maybe check to make sure it is actually down to negative tests now. Is it worth it to check and waste a test?
