Montessori floor bed??

Question

Shes 8 months and decided to do the switch. Shes been sleeping well in it but I worry about her falling out or her head hanging. Normally I would have a pool noodle but she went over that unfortunately 😕 since this pic was taken everything is moved out except the bed and fans. Any other tips?? Yes we do have a closet nursery for her since small space.

Maybe put the mattress directly on the floor so if they roll off they aren't going too far

They are supposed to be able to get out of the bed. You could add a Dockatot or similar if you like.

I actually prefer closet nurseries and that one looks great! They have bed nets that are meant for babies and if installed correctly won’t be a hazard. Otherwise, she’s so close to the floor it probably wouldn’t hurt her at all to fall out.
