IUI or IVF

I’m trying to decide if I should give IUI one more chance or just move to IVF. I’m 39 I have had 5 miscarriages. I had 3 consecutive miscarriages in 2017-2018. 2 were conceived naturally and then one IUI. I had my son in 2019 via IUI. We started trying for a second baby and I had a miscarriage in May and then again in July. My doctor told me yesterday it’s up to me either give it one more shot with IUI or be referred to IVF. My insurance doesn’t cover IUI or IVF so everything is out of pocket. I’m leaning towards going forth with the IUI but start the consultation process for IVF. Does anyone have any advice?
