I keep reading people commenting that their cervix is high and soft. How do you know? Is there a way to check?

I have read a a number of times people commenting on their cervix but have no idea how people know or what it means. I've never heard people mention it until recently.

Answer

You have to insert your (washed) fingers and check for it. A soft cervix feels like squishy your lips and a hard cervix would feel like the tip of your nose. High means it’s hard to reach and low would mean that it’s easy to find when you insert your fingers. I can’t really know what I’m feeling for so I don’t rely on that much, personally but some women swear by it! Hope that helps!
