Covid vaccine while BF?

Hey just wondering if there has been any research on  lactating women and their infants after receiving the covid vaccine?I I have tried looking up stuff but it’s very limited .please no

Look up ACOG- American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. They now recommend all pregnant and lactating people get the vaccine. I believe they just changed recently to make their recommendation more firm after reviewing all the data on people who have received it.

I got the vaccine when I was 34 weeks pregnant and I am exclusively breastfeeding and I am very happy with my choice. But I definitely get women who are pregnant and breastfeeding being very hesitant or choosing not to get vaccinated. Personally it came down to wanting to protect my kids and myself. And I feel so good about this especially with delta affecting so many children right now. I looked at WHO, the CDC, AAP, and had a really good talk with my OBGYN who gave me a lot of information that I found helped give me peace of mind

My OB and my girl’s pediatrician told me to definitely get the vaccine. They said she may get some of the antibodies but getting the vaccine isn’t of any concern for baby and I’m also breastfeeding

I recently got the 1st dose of the vaccine and I am exclusively pumping and bottle feeding breast milk. I am getting to 2nd dose in a few weeks. Baby is doing great and I spoke to both my PCP and my OB about it and both agreed it would be good for baby. That way some of the anti bodies would be passed through the breast milk. Also we have a 2 year old in our house as well and if I get sick then I am more luckily to give it to both the kids since we are always in direct contact with them. By protecting myself hopefully I am helping to protect my family. Good luck with your choice 😊

Idk but it would be interesting to see. I have to get the vaccine by the time I go back to work but I am breastfeeding my 3 week old. It will be interesting to see what the effects are and if the baby will get some kind of benefit from it too.
