I went to a doctor appointment because I haven’t got a period I got off birth control after 4 years of being on it and I have not gotten my period it’s been a month I was not pregnant and the doctor just assumed I had PCOS because of my weight that was her overall assumption.

Your doctor should not assume. There are ways to assess for PCOS. If you just got off bc a month ago, your body may need more time to adjust. 
Doctor can also prescribe a medication (progesterone trigger) to help trigger your period back.
