Why won’t my body work.

Question

I had the Mirena removed in March. Since then, I’ve had no period. No positive OPKs. No positive pregnancy tests. Just a whole lot of nothing. I have PCOS, so this was to be expected. I just wish it wasn’t so. I know 5 months isn’t as long a wait as others have had, but I worried about how hard it would be to conceive and here we are. I’m just so sad.

Give your body more time to adjust. I know it’s extremely frustrating/hard to just wait around for the day your body regulates/decides to do what you want/need, but when coming off of birth control it can take several months fo a year for your body to go back fo “normal”. 
It also wouldn’t hurt to discuss this with your OB if you haven’t already. Maybe they’d be willing to start you on medication right now since you are already diagnosed with PCOS and confirmed you aren’t ovulating. I know some OB’s make you wait so long after getting off of BC, but maybe yours would be willing to help now with your diagnosis.
