Growth spurt?

Question

My son is 3 weeks 2 days old. For almost a week now, he is always wanting to feed (nursing and formula both- mostly less formula, but always wants to nurse). I’m nursing him all the time and cannot get anything else done. I also have a 20 month old toddler and it’s becoming very difficult since I’m stuck with nursing all the time. Is this a growth spurt? If so how long will it last? Anyone experiencing similar issues?

Currently in a similar boat with my 4 week old and I have a 3 year old I barely get anything else done between the to of them but it's definitely a growth spear for her she has been in new born with 0-3 months swallowing her up now new born is getting to small and the other is starting to fit

Sounds like cluster feeding, which is very normal. My LO is 5 weeks tomorrow and I have an 18month as well. So I definitely feel you on being stuck nursing all day! It’s so hard with two!

Mt LO is doing the same thing! She's 4 weeks on Thursday and it's exhausting. She eats ALL day. For hours on end. I work from home and I'm letting things slip because I'm feeding her so much during the day. I know it's a growth spurt so it's only temporary but goodness! I understand where you're coming from!

Yes!! I went through the same thing last week! My baby is 3 weeks and non stop ate for about 2-3 days. He also are so much it thru off his nap schedule and sleeping...that was alot to handle!
He will be 4 weeks tomorrow and over the last couple days his cluster feeding has slowed down to back to regular but 1x a day he still needs extra feedings...gets irritable if he doesn't.
Hang in there! Should slow down or stop at week 4!
