I’ve been on the pill for almost a year now, but I have been having very painful cramps and light bleeding for a little over a week even while taking the pill and my period isn’t due for another 3 days. I wake up around 730am to major cramps and bleeding and take my pill at 1030am and the cramps and bleeding will last about half the day then boom it’s back when I wake up. I figured it was whatever hormones in the pill weaning off and so as of yesterday and today I started taking it every 12 hours to avoid the period but I don’t know if that’s the right thing to do. Is this normal? Should I contact my doctor? Anyone else have the same issue?
