how do i know if the phone is dead or turned off??

iam calling my husband but no answer..he was at a friends house but said he was on his way home..but its been an hour..idk if he turned off his phone or its dead..he normally lets me know when the phone is going to die but he didnt let me know this time..

Get the Life360 app, it tracks the phone and shows you where people are and for how long. I have it for both my husband and teenage son, my husband travels for work and can’t always answer the phone when working and is often in dead zones and can’t let me know when he’ll be home but with the app I can see where he is and how long it takes to get home. For my son if he’s going to a friends house I know where and when he arrived and if I need to pick him up where I’m going. The app works as long as the phone is connected to cellular data, so even if it’s shut off the app still works. I’m not advocating stalking or using this when there are trust issues in a relationship but for me it’s piece of mind and safety. One person installs the app then sends out a request to link up to the other and they have to accept and install it as well. A coworker has 3 teenage daughters and recommended it. It’s worked great for us.
