Question

I was looking into the menstrual cup but i haven't talked to anyone who actually used it.
Is it worth the buy?
Is it healthy/safer than using a tampon?
Are they easy to use?
Is clean up easy?
How do you sterilize them after?
When I asked my doctor about options she said pads are the best and had no information on menstrual cups

This one is amazing!!! I tried the disks and they don’t fit for me but this cup is great, easy to insert, easy to remove and the company even has a foam wash for it which is awesome! Also if you want to sterilize it you just boil it! Highly recommend. I’m 42 years old and was able to go swimming for the first time in my life when I had my period with no worries about leakage or having the product dislodge. And it’s environmentally friendly. Best. Invention. Ever.

Very easy to use. Super comfortable. Ring helps for easy removal. Just like pad or tampons if you have a heavy flow there could be a mess. I would wear a pantiliner with mine. It will take some time getting used to it. I feel more secure than with a pad or tampon.

I find the disposable ones more comfortable. I started using them 5 years ago and have not even considered going back to tampons.
