Do you need size 0 nappies?

Question

So I’ve decided I’m going to use the mamia premium nappies from Aldi, if baby gets on with them. The smallest they do for that size is size 1, so I was wondering do you need size 0 for the start? If so how many? 
Also wondering how many different brands of nappies/wipes did you buy incase baby didn’t get on with them? I don’t want to go overboard/not get enough

If you’ve not already had a baby shower I’d wait until after that before buying because I made the mistake of buying loads and then friends and family also gifted me some so I ended up with too many, once baby was born she grew out of number 1 quickly which meant I still have loads of unused nappies x

Size 0 is more for premature babies my daughter was 8 weeks early and weighed 3lb 11oz and she was in size 0 nappies

Size 1 is generally the first size… Size 0 isn’t around much but are buyable but are mainly for premmie baby’s, I also like little angels nappies (Asda nappies) I’ve used them with all my 3 and my SIL used them with her daughter and my other SIL changed to them once she seen how good they were. It best to maybe get a pack from different shops just to try them to see which ones are best for you and your little one. Also alidi, Asda and Tesco wipes I use never had a problem with them.

I didn't buy size 0 at all but unlike some of the others my son was in size 1 for a few months. I got a pack of own brand from each local supermarket so we could see which worked best, it's been Asdas Little Angels for us. We use Aldi wipes, extra sensitive because he has some eczema and they're so gentle, but also like Huggies Pure (when they're on offer) & Adsa extra sensitive. 
Even though we settled on Asda there wasn't really much wrong with the others so we still used the packs we had, just worked around whatever wasn't working.
