17+ weeks pregnant and gaining
This is my 2nd pregnancy. With my first boy, my waters broke at 28w5d and I was in the hospital until he came at 34w. Needless to say, I never got very big due to the early term birth and losing a lot of water. I didn't weigh myself towards the end, but I think I gained around 30 lbs. I worked out consistently for 3 years to shed it, but still went into this 2nd pregnancy about 10 lbs heavier. I'm thinking about the weight gain way too much, I know. So much that I feel like I haven't been able to enjoy this final pregnancy. I've only gained about 8 lbs since finding out, but I've never liked what pregnancy does to my body. That's hard to share because it doesn't mean I'm not grateful. I am incredibly grateful and praying for a healthy pregnancy this time. But this stage of just looking a little pudgy versus pregnant? Not my favorite...
