Does weed affect fertility?

Hey y’all my boyfriend asked me the other day why it is that we haven’t gotten pregnant and mentions it every now and then. We don’t see each other everyday so I know that’s one reason why, I also just now started taking ovulation tests, and he smokes a lot of weed. We aren’t really trying but we also aren’t doing anything to prevent something from happening. I was wondering if the fact that he smokes weed everyday has anything to do with it. Also I’m 21 and he’s 26 and we’re both fairly healthy.

No I was on nexplinon till April for 2 yrs and by end of  June I was pregnant! Mind u me and my bf are huge pot heads ! I don't smoke now but I used to before being pregnant heavy !!!!

My husband is a huge weed smoker and he has 4 kids. I was not a smoker when we started having kids. I smoked on occasion after my 2nd child for post partum anxiety and then stopped. Then i had a 3rd child. So it hasn't effected us but if you've been trying and arent having any success its worth stopping to see if that helps for sure.

It can but doesn't mean it will in his scenario . My friend has gotten multioke women pregnant and he smoked everyday . He should consult his doctor on this , run some test to see if Marijuana is actually affecting him .

Apparently they weren’t studied on males I just looked but did study on women. My previous statement was what I was told from a fertility doctor I assume because they say health wise it’s best to not drink or smoke to be in “tip top shape” maybe?

Yes it can have and affect, just like excessive alcohol but that doesn't mean that it is the reason.

My husband and I both smoked weed constantly for 10+ years lol (we don’t anymore obviously because we have a baby). I got pregnant the first month we tried. I don’t believe it has any effect on fertility.

It can but it doesn’t necessarily affect it enough to cause infertility issues.
I have PCOS, my husband and I were both daily cannabis users. The cycle I got pregnant, we were using it a lot more than usual due to me dealing with my brother’s sudden death. Baby’s perfectly healthy, and the cannabis didn’t negatively affect my cycles prior at all. I can’t say if it did anything to my husband’s sperm, but we weren’t getting pregnant before and we got pregnant during our heaviest usage. 
Honestly, half the people I know got pregnant while using cannabis regularly, if not daily.
