When did your baby sit up?

What age was your baby able to sit up and not fall over. Like for a decent amount of time. My daughter is 9 months old and falls over immediately when we try to get her to sit.

Sitting unsupported at 6 months. Sitting up by herself 8.5 months.

My son started sitting using his arms for support at 3 months. And could sit completely by 4 months. Every child learns at their own pace

My baby girl is 6 months tomorrow and has been able to sit up without following over for several weeks. So maybe around 5 months 2 weeks or so?

My daughter was 6 months old when she was able to sit up on her own. My understanding is that by 9 months babies should be able to sit up on their own but every baby is different. I would definitely talk to your pediatrician

7.5 months for my first. 4 months for my second. 7 months for my third.
9 months seems very late for not being able to sit up at all. Has she had her 9 month appointment yet and have you asked the pediatrician? You might want to ask about early intervention for her to get physical therapy.
