Hello! I’ve had 2 losses and have been out on prometrium for this pregnancy 4w4d.

I need the progesterone- my OB was hesitant but I know my body and know this is something I need. It has helped any cramping and any brown old blood I had immediately went away when starting it.

My heart was palpitating a few days prior to taking progesterone, but since taking it, the 200mg dose has seemed to either have aggravated my heart causing it to race and palpitate more or cause the symptomatic tachycardia all together

They’re trying to break it apart into 2, 100mg doses. But it might not help anything.

They are also not sure the progesterone is the cause of these issues at all. I am having a beta blocker called into today, and will be picking up a heart monitor this week

** Has anyone had issues with their heart on prometrium???? Has breaking up the dose helped? Have you had to come off of it?

Other than a palpitations 4ish times a day my heart is to my knowledge fine. Bloodwork for my heart is normal. I feel it’s causing some issues but I am REFUSING to come off of it until I ABSOLUTELY have to.
