So I’m 8 weeks pregnant and morining sickness is killing me ive never everything the doctors gave me medicine nothing is working and it’s getting worse to where I can’t eat but I also have a job I’m a dental sterilization tech and I can work for about 30mins and things go down hill with nausea and throwing up I don’t know what to do or if anyone else had this problem

I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling with this. Have you tried anything that has helped at all? I have heard of some women who like these little peppermint flavored ginger chews and others who say that just chewing gum helps. Might not be feasible for you, but I hope you find something that is or that the nausea subsides once you get further along. Good luck!

I work as head chef, I went in super early in first trimester so I could precook meat and no one would see me throw up in the sink!! Gross I know, but what can you do 🤣 x

Sure did. Feel like crap every single day and am still working 50 - 60 hrs a week.

There are a lot of different medication’s, and sometimes the doctor needs to give you two or three at a time. Are you sure you tried everything? Also, there are HG groups on Facebook. I’m not sure if you have HG, but it’s worth looking into. They have a lot of helpful tips and tricks for this specific condition, especially in one group that has over 20,000 women in it. I’m sure they can help.

Nope i dont work through it persay.   I have two toddlers who dont give a flip if i dont feel good lol

I have HG so I went out on a medical leave of absence until I felt comfortable enough to come back to work. My doctors offered intermittent FMLA but I don’t want to waste my time before baby is here. Worse case I go back out on medical leave but so far this regimen of medication is working and I only have about 9 weeks left.

I worked through it with both my pregnancies. Got close one day to calling in this second time but ultimately I sucked it up and I was fine once it was early afternoon.
