One week postpartum I was having shortness of breath and a bad headache. I thought to check my BP and it was 189/109. I went to the ER and after a head and chest CT they determined I have a PE in my lung.

I was transferred to the main hospital and have been admitted for the last 3 days. I have been diagnosed with severe postpartum preeclampsia and am now on two blood pressure medications and two blood thinners for the PE.

I had a C-Section and the blood thinners caused my wound to open today.

I wish I could catch a break. I just want to be healthy and be able to provide for my daughter.

Anyone else going through this?
