What could this be? Need urgent advice!
Hello! For about 4-6 months now I’ve had a soft, very slightly moveable lump under the middle of my left jaw, around about where the submandibular gland is. I’m not sure if it’s the gland or not because it’s not feelable on the right side. It’s not gotten any bigger for the four to six months that I’ve noticed it being here, and it seems to shrink when I’m in the shower standing under the hot water letting it hit it, but it will puff back up to the prior size once it’s been out of the hot water for a while. It also seems smaller some days from what I can tell. Im not sure if this matters, but I’d like to add as much detail as I can! Also had my wisdom teeth taken out about a year ago now.
I have no family history of any cancer, I don’t smoke or drink, I’m 20 years old, I’m not on any medication besides allergy medication. I was wondering if this sounds like lymphoma or Hodgkins / non - Hodgkin’s lymphoma?
As I said the lump isn’t hard, it’s quite soft and very slightly moves. It’s very smooth, no irregular shapes or edges, and it’s rather oval shaped. You can’t see it by just looking at my neck, you can only feel it when pressing about with ur fingers. I have no other symptoms besides just driving myself crazy over this!
I have an upcoming doctors visit, but I’m searching some advice or perhaps someone knows what this is. Thanks a billion! xoxo God bless!
