Yeast infections with ring birth control?

Anyone have the ring birth control and got yeast infections? I want to get the new birth control ring that last a year but I’m worried about yeast infections. When I had the copper IUD I kept getting them a week before my period. My old doctor said it might not be a good fit for me if that’s my history. Just want to know how common it is and other peoples experience. Also does it make you spot a lot or random bleeding?
