How do you teach a kid (1yo)to wear a (bicycle) helmet?

He fights it bad and telling him why he needs it... Doesn't do him much at this age 😂

I tried teaching him like I taught my dog to accept a muzzle.. (giving him a treat while putting it on) Which allowed me to at least put it on his head..

Is this an acceptable way to teach him?

How did you do this?

Update:

We got this far. Gets on his head, it sits pretty snug.

He tries to take it off all the time but I hope by repeating and taking him out with it will desensitize him 🤔
