Mucus plug?

Do I need to do anything if I lose my mucus plug? I’m 38+3 and a piece definitely just came out. I’m not having contractions this moment just pressure and cramps. I’m scheduled for a c section in 4 days but wishing my water would just break and I could get a vbac!!!

No they don’t need to know that it’s been lost. If you have another appt you can mention it.

I called my OBGYN yesterday because I’m only 33 weeks and lost my mucus plug.  I just did a test for contractions and his heart rate everything came clear and perfect. Since your 37 I would just call and inform them but I don’t think it’s a big risk since your already full term technically as have a plan to induce. Maybe try having sex and walking up hills/curb walking eating dates. Good luck and have a safe delivery.
