Left side pains. Is it etopic?

So I am 8 weeks 1 day. I have really faint off and on pains on my left side under ribs and vaginal pain.  It's really only when I lay down. Rib pain is normal for me due to fibromyalgia. 
I had an ultrasound Tues and no one said there were any issues after radiologist looked over everything. I assumed if it was etopic they would alert me?  
Honestly, I think it just may be gas because I am super bloated. But idk. I'm a first time mum.

If they didn't say anything then chances are you have nothing to worry about. One of my first pregnancy symptoms was actually sharp period like pains in my left side and it was almost constant for a little over a week. I'm 32 weeks with a healthy baby.. bring it up at your next appointment or call and talk to a nurse if it worries you for sure but don't stress too much until they actually tell you something might be wrong.. and even then try not to stress yourself out too much.

It’s not a faint pain, the pain is almost unbearable. If there was nothing to see on the ultrasound they’d do an internal scan to investigate further but if all was fine then there’s no chance of it being an ectopic

they would have definitely told you at your scan if it was ectopic, that's not something they let slide.

If they didn’t tell you it was ectopic then it probably isn’t. As somebody who just had a kidney infection in May though pre-pregnancy, I would monitor your pain. Mine kind of started in my lower back and migrated its way up  my left side. Eventually it hurt when I was breathing on my left side, but that’s because I had no idea I had an infection. Not to scare you or anything. They say to try taking Tylenol and if it doesn’t relieve it then they say to contact the doctor. Medicine and heating pad did nothing for me which is why I ended up in the ER and learned about my infection.
