Mine didn’t feel any worse than a period. Honestly, there were so many other things going on the last thing I was thinking of was me bleeding.

Not going to lie, it's going to seem like a lot and there will be clots. But when you think about the fact that it's been nine months, it's really not. The nurses at the hospital should be able to tell you exactly what to look for though and help guide you. Don't be afraid afraid ask questions. And when I doubt you can ALWAYS call your OB. That's what they are there for. And don't be too concerned if it lasts for three to four weeks either. With my son it was about two and half weeks before I stopped bleeding, but it was almost four weeks with my daughter. Congrats mama. It will all be okay.
