Went to my 16 week appointment yesterday but because I was 2 days away from being 16 weeks they could literally do nothing. She said they weren’t allowed to listen to the heartbeat if I wasn’t past 16 weeks or do my whooping cough vaccine either.

I’m so frustrated, I have never heard the little ones heartbeat and I was so excited to.

They’ve booked me in for next Thursday to come back but now my partner can’t come with me because he’s just started a new job, he gets every Friday off but they couldn’t book me in on a Friday for another 3 weeks. He told me to take this appointment as making sure everything is okay is more important, but it’s so annoying. Why book me in when they can’t do anything?

My blood pressure was 125/59 too and I’m sure that’s not right but nothing was said about it! Has anyone else had a similar blood pressure?
