Preeclampsia without high blood pressure?

Question

My doctor is worried I might have preeclampsia because of vision spots, severe dizziness and constant headaches as well as some upper right pain. But my blood pressure is always normal. Has anyone experienced this or had the signs of preeclampsia but ended up with something else?

I had all those signs early, but my blood pressure stayed normal until almost 38 weeks. It then shot up, I did in fact have pre-eclampsia. I would continue keeping a watch on your blood pressure

I had the opposite; high blood pressure but no preeclampsia.. doctors had no idea why my blood pressure was so high

Yup. No protein in my urine and blood pressure was always normal. I started taking my blood pressure when I was seeing spots & dizzy and that’s when I realized it was high, but would go down after a while. I went to labor & delivery and they checked my urine and said no protein, normal BP, go home! Luckily last minute they did some blood testing and learned that I did in fact have Pre-E BAD.
