Alopecia ???

I noticed my baby losing hair which I think it’s normal? But he has a round bald spot I’m worried I Don’t think this is normal.. I asked his pediatrician and she said let’s wait and see but I’m worried it might be something serious.. have you experienced something like this ???

If it’s on the back of his head it’s just gone from him laying on the back and rubbing his head in the car seat.

As a baby I lost my full head of black hair in the bathtub. My mom freaked out. Turns out it is very normal and my hair grew back blonde. I asked our pediatrician when my daughter started to lose her hair. She said as the mom’s hormones leave the baby’s body they tend to lose hair. It happened faster for my daughter since I don’t breastfeed.

Are you breast feeding? Could be hormone changes. When my hair started to shed my LO lost all his hair.

My first LO lost all his hair when he was a couple weeks old.. my second didn’t and now my third she seems to be losing it like a ring around her head. It is normal for babies to lose some of all of their hair. Many times they lose hair in the spot where their head rests when they sleep. It grows back, but it feels like forever to grow back since it does take a while for hair to grow.

My daughter lost all of her hair and she got it back around 1.5 year old and finally came in strong at 2 years. She was just like me!
