Things to do with toddler on rainy day!?

My sitter is taking a once a year and much needed vacation. So I also took a week off of work and me and my son have the entire week together! I had planned lots of pool and outside time and park trips but unfortunately it’s going to rain all week! What are some things to keep him entertained? I plan on going to an indoor playground but it’s 30 mins away and we can’t go every day.

Popsicles in the bathtub! So fun to play and eat a treat in the water

We go and play in the rain!  When they go to kindergarten they need full rain gear because they play outside rain or shine. Theres so many things for them to see and do in the rain!  My daughter loves jumping in puddles, finding streams of water running down sidewalks and following how far rhey go and where they stop. As long as it isnt cold and raining or thunderstorms we take advantage!

Movie day with snacks and cuddles ! You can make a fort lol
Coloring or other crafts (edible paint was always fun it’s just like pudding with dye in it I think )
Movie theater (idk how old your toddler is though )

I build blocks with my son a lot when it's too rainy. I typically try to take him to an indoor gym once a week. And I also use that time to read to him more, and he also helps me with housework sometimes.
