My LO is 7 weeks old. She's been swaddled in a Velcro wrap with arms down since day one and done amazing. I've tried the arms up swaddle once and she screamed for not being able to put them back down... Anyway, now she's grown out of her Velcro wrap so I started to use the halo and still swaddling arms down but she's fighting it all night. Not sure if she does this because it's looser or because she's over being swaddled? I'm a FTM so looking for suggestions or just what your doing because I'm willing to try anything.. I've ordered a bigger size Velcro wrap in the meantime so that may fix my issues once it's here who knows. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Also her startle reflex is still way to bad to go arms out right now.
